Hi not sure if anyone can help but here goes...

My client wants to update the gallery on their website themselves, which is fine.  I will download the software onto their computer and they can drag and drop images into this visual lightbox and then publish the page to their website.

The problem is that this visual lightbox I am using generates a page of html automatically with all the image in it including a caption  - but with no 'alt' tags on the images.

So when the page is validated it doesn't validate because the alt tags are missing.

So when I was updating the gallery myself it was no problem to just go in and add the alt tags to each image myself.  But I am not sure that my client will be happy to do this?

So I am trying to find a way to get the code to generate the alt tags automatically but havent a clue what I am doing!  I searched the internet and couldnt get an answer and wondered if anyone here had used it before?

The gallery I am using is this one: http://visuallightbox.com/  I have already paid for the business edition.

So would anyone know how to modify the code to add alt tags?  I can pay a little but not a lot for the work.

Or alternatively do you think the client will be happy to drag and drop images, publish the page and then go back into the code using something like ftplive.com and add in the alt tags?

Please help if you can.

Cheers
Lisa

Have you tried contacting the company regarding this? it's probably your best bet at the end of the day.

If not have you got any source code we can have a quick look at. I've not used this so i'm unaware as to how the code is splat out, as you say it might be an easy job.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I just got a response from the company after many emails, saying sorry but they dont have a feature for that at the moment.  Great, aren't alt tags supposed to be standard stuff?

Anyway, im still stuck.

Heres the source code for the main js file, not sure if this is the one I need to change or not?
